- I received a B.S., M.Ed., Ed.S., and Ed.D. in special education at University of Maryland and George Washington University. My specialty areas include learning disabilities, ADHD, mobility issues, transition to post-secondary options, and self-advocacy skills. I spent 30+ years in the public school setting as a special education teacher and special education supervisor, and 3 years in a private school as a learning specialist.
